SHIPPING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Customers must provide accurate sender and receiver details, contact numbers, delivery addresses, goods descriptions, quantities, declared values, and required customs documents.

Aba Fides Ltd reserves the right to refuse prohibited, restricted, improperly packaged, or inadequately documented goods. Customers must declare the actual contents of their packages and disclose goods requiring special handling.

Customers are responsible for ensuring goods are properly packaged unless packaging is included in the agreed service. Additional packaging or handling charges may apply and will be communicated to the customer.

Shipping fees depend on the shipment's actual or volumetric weight, shipping method, destination, type of goods, and additional services.

Air cargo shipping fees must be paid in full before departure from China.

Additional charges for storage, customs clearance, insurance, delivery, or other services may apply where applicable and will be communicated to the customer.

Payments calculated in Rwandan francs (RWF) follow this conversion method:

USD → Chinese Yuan (RMB/CNY) → Rwandan Franc (RWF).

The final RWF amount may differ from direct USD-to-RWF conversions because of applicable exchange rates, payment-provider charges, and currency conversion costs. Customers should use the final amount quoted by Aba Fides Ltd.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless agreed otherwise in writing. Delays may occur due to customs inspections, weather, carrier schedules, port congestion, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond the company's reasonable control.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, customs duties, taxes, clearance fees, and other applicable government charges are the responsibility of the receiver or the legally liable party. Customs authorities may inspect, detain, reassess, or refuse entry to goods.

Customers should inspect shipments promptly and report any loss, shortage, or damage as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery or discovery.

Customers should retain receipts, photographs, invoices, and shipment references to support claims.

Insurance is not automatically included. Customers must request and confirm insurance coverage before dispatch. Compensation is subject to the applicable agreement, insurance policy, carrier conditions, and law.

Receivers must ensure their contact details are correct and collect shipments within the communicated collection period.

Applicable storage charges will be communicated to customers, including the rate and the date charges begin, storage charge is normal 2,000rwf per day after delay of 3days without picking up your goods. Uncollected goods will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the agreed terms.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, declaring lawful goods, and supplying required documentation. Aba Fides Ltd's liability for loss, damage, or delays is determined by applicable law and the contractual arrangements governing the shipment.

Customers should submit complaints or claims with their shipment reference number and supporting evidence. Aba Fides Ltd will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve complaints amicably. Unresolved disputes may be referred to the appropriate dispute-resolution mechanism.

Customer information will be used for shipping arrangements, payments, communication, customer support, and legal compliance. Information may be shared with relevant logistics partners and authorities where necessary and lawful.

Aba Fides Ltd may update these terms when necessary, subject to applicable law and existing contractual rights.

IMPORTANT: Air cargo and sea cargo have different warehouse addresses. Customers who send goods to the wrong address are responsible for the local transportation costs required to move the goods to the correct warehouse.
